Privacy Policy for the Android App SSWR
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This privacy policy explains which information is collected, used, or shared by the SSWR app.
1. Collection and Processing of User Data
The app itself does not transmit any personal data to external servers. The due date you enter is stored exclusively on your device (see section 2).
In the ad-supported version, SSWR uses Google AdMob to provide advertising. AdMob may collect the following anonymous data:
- Device information (model, operating system, IP address)
- Usage statistics (interactions with ads)
- Google Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
This data is used to display personalized advertising. Users can manage their ad preferences under Google Ads Settings.
2. Health Data (Due Date)
SSWR is a pregnancy week calculator app. To use the app, you enter your expected due date. This date constitutes health-related data (reproductive health data).
Collection and storage: The due date is stored exclusively on your device in the app's private local storage (SharedPreferences). It is never transmitted to any server or third party.
Purpose of processing: The data is used solely to perform the following calculations within the app and the home screen widget:
- Current pregnancy week
- Remaining days until the due date
- Days elapsed since conception
- Current pregnancy month
Disclosure: The due date is not shared with any third party. In particular, Google AdMob does not have access to this data.
Deletion: The stored data is deleted when you uninstall the app. No backup copies exist on external servers.
3. Use of Cookies
The app itself does not use cookies, but Google AdMob may use cookies or similar technologies.
4. Disclosure of Data
No personal data is stored or shared directly by the app.
Data collected by Google AdMob is subject to Google's privacy policy (Google Privacy Policy).
5. Data Security
We implement technical measures to protect data. However, please note that no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. User Rights under GDPR (if applicable)
If you reside in the EU, you have the right to:
- Access your stored data
- Correct or delete your data
- Restrict processing or object to the use
